I am Michael, vocalist and professionally known as Corvo locuco
For those who have never heard “BAIN HORN” can you describe your band's musical style?
Yes, we are an underground band for over 16 years in the music scene. Since 2003, our style has formed an aggressive and heavy instrumental with realistic lyrics that reflect the Brazilian reality.
And how did you meet?
I (Michael) and the drummer (Francisco) have known us for many years, I met him as a guitarist and he was part of a first band project. Time passed and I met Leo, our current guitarist, we met through my brother and he had never played an instrument.
With my encouragement he started playing in the band, he gained experience and the time passed he became a very good guitarist. Evandro who is our other guitarist was through our ex-bassist Rick, Rick and Evandro started their friendship through their work, they are tattoo artists, Evandro arrived and conquered his space.
We love life on stage, and it was an honor to meet and play with everyone who lived and played in this band.
Are you recording a new album?
Yes, we are recording our new album, our focus for finishing the recordings is in April, and after this same month we will start to schedule the release date.

Yes, it will be a special album, with controversial, true and genuine lyrics, the sound will come very heavy, like a stone lol. It is a CD that gives me a lot of freedom to sing, and that makes me feel evolving even more with this new album.
Can you tell me about what inspired you as an artist and what influenced your style?
Yes, I am influenced by the bands “MUDVAYNE”, “SLIPKNOT”, the Brazilian representation of “SEPULTURA”, “KORN” and the best known bands on the national scene as “ASSASSINOS” and “PAVILHÃO 9”.
I started singing Rap and as time went by I was attracted by Rock the instrumental froze me, leaves me in awe. Skateboarding always wanted to have a drained sound to sing, a real hit in the mind.
My biggest influence was Max from the band “SEPULTURA”, this guy is my hero, take the opportunity to send him a hug.
I can definitely see Korn in your style lol.
Can you tell me about your image? What inspired the masks and paint? Is there a significant one?
There came a time in my musical career that I felt lackluster and saw myself as a clown, it was then that I decided to mix two villains from the cinema, and ironize the situation, in my inspiration, the crow for its intelligence and the joker for its insanity ,
so "locuco crow" was born! And from that, the guys in the band, currently three great warriors, gave life to each character, and each one molded from their shape and personality.
Wicked. You can tell me about some of the craziest things you've ever seen. Or some crazy or funny memories that you have of being in this band?
Yes, wow there are many stories, crazy fun and dangerous lol, it happened in late 2000.
We went to play at a school in Itaquaquecetuba (a city on the east side of São Paulo) The band was already well known for the song “mundo chaos”. After a mega show we did, I went to the bar to buy drinks and also wanted to buy marijuana to celebrate a great show. A guy arrived, very crazy,
and he recognized me and wanted me to go to his house, because he wanted to show people that I was his friend. When I arrived at his house, I noticed that he had all kinds of drugs. I thought of paradise, but at the same time, I thought of hell. The guy made money from drugs, he gave us pizza, gave us money to drink, things were crazy.
When we left the guy's house, there was a shooting in front of the house. I thought I was going to die !!!
Damn, thats insane.
But thanks to God everything went well and we arrived home safe and sound, we were crazy, this training was the best, everyone consumes marijuana and drinks, with responsibility and of course lol ...
Now, on a more serious note, for fans who suffer from depression, anxiety or bullying, what would you say to them?
They are adult brothers with a formed mind. I would tell them, never give up on yourself. I know what you are going through, I feel your pain, I overcome depression every day, panic and anxiety attacks are part of my routine. But I insist, never give up on yourself, you will win, you will make it, fight, you are strong and only the weak give up !!
Can you tell me about your music video?
The new clips are being created!
There are several videos on Youtube, but two stand out, the music video “Só não falila” and “Loucura Insana”. Videos that serve as a sample of the reality of our country,
which addresses sensitive issues such as armed conflicts and our country's lack of control over the consumption of drugs such as cocaine and crack.
Does your band speak out against drug use?
We consume marijuana in a recreational way and drink alcoholic beverages responsibly, we do not use other types of illicit or licit drugs. But we are in favor of freedom, that all people can do what they want in their lives.
He who respects space and maintains the physical and mental integrity of himself and others has the right to do what he wants.
