Attention Anyone: Pop-Punk at its fines

Attention Anyone is a four-piece pop-punk band. Free Download of their EP This Just In Below

Attention Anyone formed as a group of friends in Barrie Ontario. The four-piece, consisting of Warren Peters (vocals, guitar), Matty Galbraith (base), Matt Sergi (guitar), and Shawn Moreau (Drums) achieve an upbeat pop-punk sound comparable to Taking back Sunday, The All-American Rejects, and Third Eye Blind. The band artfully blends 90’s punk-rock with more modern post-revival pop-punk, complete with catchy verses, memorable rifts, and an overall fun vibe.

Warren Peters fronts the band with constant vocal distortion, similar to what you would expect from bands Nirvana or Nickelback, which certainly adds to the overall 90’s feel. The bands instrumentals manage somehow to stay constantly upbeat, but not annoyingly so, making sure you know that their less pop, more punk. This is not so surprising though, since the band itself lists Green Day, Blink-182, and Newfound Glory as some of it’s main inspirations.

The unfortunate news, however, is that Attention Anyone broke up due to differences in direction after releasing only one record, This Just In. The upside is that members Matty Galbraith (bass), and Shawn Moreau (drums), joined up with singer Scott Murray to form a new band named “The Highdives” which have already released its first full-length record “Ocean Blood”.
